A Tribute to Fereydoun Farrokhzad by Niaz Nawab & Erwin Khachikian
Farhang Foundation is proud to present a very special virtual tribute performance by NIAZ NAWAB & ERWIN KHACHIKIAN. As part of Farhang Foundation’s Annual Gala Celebrations, we invited three select young artists to perform tributes to Iranian legends who have inspired them. Our third and final performance of this series is by the talented duo of Niaz Nawab and Erwin Khachikian, performing this beautiful rendition of Fereydoun Farrokhzad’s hit duet “Avazeh Khan Nah Avaz.” “Fereydoun Farrokhzad’s original films and music videos from decades ago might appear faded to our modern eyes today, though his updated ideology and wide perspective of life is full of colors. One can only imagine what his life would have been like if he was alive today!
