The village of “Ouraman Takht”, Kurdistan, Iran

Ouraman Takht is a 1000 years old mountainside village located in Kurdistan, Iran. Houses in Ouraman are rock-made, built in rows one at the top of the other creating narrow corridors between them.

The village people are from the Iranian ethnicity of Kurds and have preserved their old Kurdish culture and costume.
