About Melody Ehsani

Melody Ehsani is the visionary designer and entrepreneur behind ME. – a streetwear brand specializing in jewelry, footwear and clothing with a message. As a creative director and CEO, Melody has built a unique brand that meets at the intersection of streetwear culture and activism.

Melody’s footwear designs are some of the most coveted shoes on the market today. She most recently announced her role in Footlocker’s 12 Days of Greatness drop and previously her ME. x AJ1 Fearless collaboration with Air Jordan sold out in under two minutes. Her designs in collaboration with Reebok, StockX, American Express, Powerade, Victorianox, and Nordstrom have consistently outperformed the competition.

Melody first launched her eponymous label after dropping out of law school in 2004 in hopes to create a purposeful brand that would inspire and empower. In the short time since the launch of the ME. brand, Melody’s jewelry apparel and footwear designs have changed the landscape of accessible womenswear. Favored among streetwear enthusiasts, celebrity stylists, and fashion editors, Melody and her designs have been featured in Vogue, Hypebeast, L.A. Times, Flaunt, and countless music videos, television series and films.

Streetwear was (and in many ways, still is) a boys’ club. Melody dared to see it differently, opening the first and only women’s boutique on Fairfax in 2014. Her perseverance and hustle have made her store front more than a brick-and-mortar; it’s a special place at the heart of an ever-booming subculture. In addition to events including release parties, Melody’s L.A. and NYC boutiques host discussions about design, culture, art and activism. Speakers have included guests such as Serena Williams, Melina Matsoukas and Janaya Future Khan.

Melody’s gift for forecasting trends and social conversation, has led to other collaborations with titans such as Michelle Obama, Lauryn Hill and Wu-Tang Clan.

Additional supporters of the brand include Rihanna, Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish, Yara Shahidi and Lena Waithe.

Melody currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and stepdaughter.

About Tara Grammy

Tara Grammy is an Iranian-Canadian actress and playwright. She was born in Tehran and grew up in Toronto, with time spent in the United-States and Germany. Tara is one of the hosts of the hit series PERSIA’S GOT TALENT, part of the global phenomena “Got Talent” franchise. Tara recently starred in the hit romantic comedy A SIMPLE WEDDING opposite Maz Jobrani, Rita Wilson, and Academy Award nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo. Tara has also starred in the TBS sketch show 2042 as a series regular. She has received millions of views and a tremendous following on social media with her hit sketch comedy character MANIJEH.
