This video takes you on a short tour of Chak Chak, also known as Pir Sabz, one of the most important Zoroastrian pilgrimage sites in Iran. Located in the mountains between Ardakan and Anjireh in Yazd Province, Chak Chak is a place of great spiritual significance for Zoroastrians.

Every year in June, Zoroastrians from all over Iran gather at Chak Chak to pray and celebrate. The site is home to a number of sacred structures, including a fire temple, a water temple, and a shrine to the prophet Zoroaster.

The name “Chak Chak” comes from the sound of water dripping from the rocks in the area.

The site is believed to have been a place of pilgrimage for Zoroastrians for centuries.
