Woodbury University School of Business Offers New, Dynamic Programs

This Fall, Woodbury University’s School of Business reinstated a new and improved graduate program and three new certificate programs. Our reinvented Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership (MOL) degree is perfect for engaging and emerging leaders aspiring to move up to middle or upper management. It is a great boost for anyone in their mid-career seeking growth, promotion, and leadership-specific guidance. The MOL is ideal for professionals from all academic backgrounds. The program contains ten courses covering a wide range of areas including Organizational Leadership, Conflict Resolution, and Strategic Communications and can be completed in one year. The program is offered in hybrid format with some courses fully in-person and others in online-synchronous format. All courses are offered in evenings making the program friendly for working adults.

The School of Business has also launched three new certificate programs in Digital Marketing, Inclusive Leadership, and Production Accounting. The certificate programs contain clusters of baccalaureate-level courses and can be completed in anywhere from one semester (Production Accounting) to one academic year (Digital Marketing). Students who start a certificate program in Spring 2024 will receive a 50% tuition discount! Our certificates are offered in hybrid format, with some courses on campus and others in online synchronous format. All courses are offered at night, to allow for greater flexibility for working adults to join the programs.

Our 15-unit Digital Marketing Certificate is for those who want to kick-start their growth in the digital marketing and e-commerce industry. This program teaches participants to manage digital marketing campaigns, attract and engage customers, sell products online, and more.

Our 12-unit Inclusive Leadership Certificate provides individuals with insights in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) to become relevant leaders of today’s world. Students learn how to assess identify and eliminate DEI obstacles, develop strategies to confront biases, design structures for constructive team performance, and develop leadership qualities within themselves and others. This certification can be completed in two semesters.

Our 7-unit Production Accounting Certificate is perfect for anyone interested in working in the entertainment industry! Production Accounting is a lucrative field and production accountants are in high demand. In this certificate program, students will acquire a broad scope of understanding of the vernacular in the field, and the core application of the position, including an understanding of critically important aspects of law, union conditions, staffing, and more. The semester-length program also includes production accounting work experience where students have the opportunity to intern as a production accountant.

The MOL and certificate programs join the School of Business’ well-established, AACSB accredited programs. Only 5% of Business Schools in the world hold this prestigious accreditation! We further offer Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees in Accounting, Fashion Marketing, Management, and Marketing, as well as a STEM-designated Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Information Systems. We also offer a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree that can be completed in one year for students who have an undergraduate degree in business.
