Oncology:

Dr. Javadi is a board certified Oncologist in Calabasas. Dr. Javadi specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Oncology is the science of cancer related to tumors and abnormal cell growth. At Hope Health Center we diagnose the disease to trace its origin and development so that we can provide the best treatment to control and if possible, reverse the disease.

Our oncologist coordinate all of the steps in diagnosis. The initial workup for cancer including biopsies, endoscopies, imaging studies like X-rays, CT scanning, MRI scanning, ultrasound and other radiological techniques. Our oncologist then plan an individualized treatment regimen that is suitable for each patient based on the grade and stage of the cancer. Treatment options include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and new targeted therapies like anti-angiogenesis, vaccines, or clinical trials.

The oncologist follow up with patients who are in remission to encourage them to continue with positive lifestyle habits. This includes providing treatment that will promote sustained remission. Oncologist’s follow up is also for early relapse detection so that corrective action can be taken promptly to save the patient.

Terminally ill patients are provided with the best available care from our oncologist to increase their survival time and improve their quality of life while they live with the disease.
