Farhang Hodjat is a Persian-American entrepreneur that was born in Tehran, Iran and lived there only to the age of 2 before his family fled to America at the break out of the revolution. Growing up in America during a time when being a Persian-American wasn’t as acceptable as it is today, Farhang gained the thick skin necessary to be an entrepreneur in a very competitive market place. Starting young with selling his drawings door to door to neighbors and holding frequent garage sales selling his parent’s stuff, Farhang gained a passion for starting businesses and has never looked back since. Combining his passion for entrepreneurship, self-development and basketball, Farhang has opened up his own 20,000 square-foot sports facility in Carson, CA called The LAB (Love and Basketball), where he teaches young players from beginner to pro, what it takes to mentally and physically prepare yourself not only for competition, but the world. Farhang has also written 3 childrens books (1 is an Amazon Best Seller) and owns and operates an advertising firm that helps local businesses market appropriately and effectively to their respective demographics. Farhang is married to his high-school sweet-heart, Cuban-American Lellany Hodjat, and has 3 beautiful kids, Nala, Rocco and Cruz.
