
With the government shut down , 1 million of people in LA County might not get their food stamps on November 1st.
The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is issuing a call to action for volunteers for a large -scale distribution event happening this Saturday, November 1st in the Inglewood area from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm . The exact location is still pending. We’re expecting to service 5,000 households with food assistance.
If you have any extra hands available, they would greatly appreciate the support. Please share the link below with any team members who would be interested or are based in or near Inglewood.

*All volunteers must wear closed-toe/closed-heel shoes*
*Volunteers MUST participate for the entire shift*
*Volunteers must be able to repeatedly lift 30 lbs*
