Today, on 9/11, we pause to remember one of the darkest days in our nation’s history. We honor the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who gave everything in the face of unimaginable tragedy.
From first responders who ran toward danger, to ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage, their sacrifice is a reminder of the strength of the human spirit.
As I reflect, I am reminded that while hatred can cause great pain, it is love, compassion, and unity that help us heal. Let us never forget the past, but also let us carry forward the light of kindness that keeps hope alive.
May today be not only a moment of mourning, but also a call to live with greater empathy and purpose, for ourselves, for our neighbors, and for the generations to come.
