Giorgio Armani, the legendary Italian fashion designer and founder of the Armani Group, has passed away at the age of 91. Though he grew up in Italy, Armani’s family had an Armenian background and fled the 1915 Genocide before settling in the European country. Armani himself honored the Armenian roots in his Spring/Summer 2022 collection, named ‘Métissage,’ which featured Armenian-inspired designs:
