Honoring the life and legacy of Reza Ghotbi

Ghotbi

Aug. 13, 2025 – In a quiet yet poignant tribute, artist and photographer Azadeh Ghotbi has launched a website dedicated to the life and legacy of her father, Reza Ghotbi, a figure revered for his unwavering devotion to Iran.
The site, rezaghotbi.com, offers a curated collection of biographical details, interviews, tributes, and photographs that collectively paint a fuller portrait of a man who, by all accounts, eschewed personal acclaim in favor of service to his homeland. Ghotbi, who passed away in 2024 at the age of 86, is remembered not only as a loving husband, father, and grandfather, but also as a patriot whose commitment to Iran remained steadfast throughout his life.
Azadeh Ghorbi’s initiative reflects a deeply personal effort to preserve her father’s memory and share his story with a broader audience. In her own words, Ghotbi was an altruist uninterested in fame or historical recognition, yet she felt compelled to ensure that his contributions and character were not lost to time.
The website stands as a modest but meaningful digital archive, inviting visitors to engage with the life of a man whose quiet integrity and devotion left an indelible mark on those who knew him—and on the country he held so dear.
