Who is Mariya Palanjian
Mariya Palanjian is an entrepreneur, minority business woman, and MBA graduate from Woodbury University with her husband and two kids. Mariya’s passion, vision and entrepreneurial spirit were essential in building her first two successful startup companies in the bridal industry. These companies have been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers, and television shows.
More recently, Mariya has established a successful career in the advertising industry, having founded GlobaFly in 2017, after years of spearheading national campaigns across traditional and social media channels for a wide array of internationally recognized and influential clients across a variety of industries (tech, news, e-commerce, digital entertainment). GlobaFly’s success has its roots founded in its City Takeover Marketing Campaigns for clients such as Next Trucking (Forbes Next Billion Dollar Company), Mercedes, and Infiniti, to name a few. GlobaFly’s first client, The New York Times, trusted this concept and saw results 2x beyond KPI.

Mariya strongly believes in the power of spreading global brand awareness and engagement one city at a time. Specializing in targeted city takeovers while incorporating key regional and national influencers, GlobaFly has expanded its portfolio to more than 10 clients and grew 300% year over year through being globally minded and locally connected.
In addition to GlobaFly, Mariya is also currently at the helm of Roma Leaf, a successful health & wellness company focused on bringing relief to people’s routines, which she co-founded with her husband. Roma Leaf was born subsequent to her father’s cancer diagnosis, and after seeing his positive experience and pain relief when using natural, THC free CBD products, Roma Leaf was founded with the same notion in mind: to provide relief to everyone’s routines. Roma Leaf was recently featured in GQ, Vouge, Green Entrepreneur, VoyageLa.
