LAFC TO CELEBRATE “LAFC DAY” ON APRIL 27 WITH UPCOMING FOOD DRIVE LAFC To Distribute Healthy Groceries And Wellness Materials To Members Of The L.A. Community Presented By Kaiser Permanente The Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) and Kaiser Permanente are teaming up to distribute healthy groceries, COVID-19 PPE and healthy-living educational materials to families facing food insecurity to commemorate “LAFC Day” in the City of Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 27 at Banc of California Stadium. On April 27, 2018 Councilmember Curren Price and the Los Angeles City Council officially honored and recognized April 27 as “LAFC Day” in the City of Los Angeles. Every year, the Black & Gold celebrates the date by participating in an event to support the L.A. community. On Tuesday, all produce and shelf-stable items are provided by the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and SEE-LA is providing eggs for distribution. Volunteers from both LAFC and Kaiser Permanente will be onsite to assist in distributing the groceries and other items. This is a ticketed event only. Grocery recipients have been previously pre-selected with the support of LAFC’s community partners.
