Major League Soccer’s 26th season will see all 27 MLS clubs compete in 34 regular season matches, 17 home and 17 away, with an emphasis on intra-conference regional play. At the end of the regular season, the top seven teams from each conference will qualify for the Audi 2021 MLS Cup Playoffs. Click Here for the 2021 regular season competition structure.

The Black & Gold will appear in 16 nationally televised matches, including five on ESPN, three on FOX, three on FS1 and five on Univision/UniMás. The full LAFC local broadcast schedule will be released at a later date.

Due to health and safety protocols from California and the L.A. Department of Public Health, a limited amount of media members will be accredited for each match. Credential applications will be accepted and reviewed on a game-by-game basis, and media members must apply one match at a time. Every effort will be given to ensure media members who regularly attend LAFC matches will get to attend as many matches as possible. Specific information regarding the credential process will be distributed in the coming days.

LAFC is a perfect 3-0-0 all-time in home openers, with victories over Inter Miami FC (2020), Sporting Kansas City (2019) and Seattle Sounders FC (2018).

Notable matchups include a visit from reigning Regular Season Western Conference leader Sporting Kansas City at the Banc on Saturday June 26 on ESPN and a trip to Portland to take on Western Conference rival the Timbers on Wednesday, July 21.

LAFC faces the Galaxy three times in 2021, with the first matchup on the road on Saturday, May 8 (FOX) before hosting the Galaxy at the Banc on Saturday, Aug. 28 (FOX). The third match between the crosstown rivals will be in Carson on Sunday, Oct. 3 (ESPN).

The Black & Gold enters its fourth season in MLS after reaching the Audi MLS Cup Playoffs for the third consecutive year in 2020. Since 2018, LAFC leads the League in total regular season wins (46) and points (161). The Club became the first-ever MLS team to defeat three Liga MX teams in the knockout stages of the Concacaf Champions League en route to the 2020 Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League Final.
