The Hosseini family is a well-known name for Persian and Oriental Carpets, it is the major exporter of Persian carpets to North America and manages over 80% of the imports through its Toronto and Woodland Hills, California offices. Kourosh Rugs is now making it easier to buy and sell antiques, fine carpets, and works of fine art online.

Reza Hosseini directed the original company since taking it over from the family 35 years ago. He grew the family business in Europe and Canada. He has maintained a long family business tradition of honesty integrity and client service. Kourosh Rugs is widely respected as one of the most trusted names in Carpet Trades across North America and Europe. As a certified appraiser by the Oriental Rug Retailers of America, he is considered an authority in Appraisal and Insurance.

Now the fourth generation of Hosseini’s, Mr. Hashem Hossieni is running a location in Woodland Hills California. Hashem Hosseini has transformed what has been a large success from his brother Reza in Canada, again into a successful business in California. Hashem is interested not only in the life cycle of the rugs, not just the beauty, as the product goes through 20 to 30 hands, but every step that the rug goes through including sheep shearers, weavers, sales agents and shippers before ending up in his gallery and then with the customer he travels extensively, buying antiques and rugs for them. His desire to expand his family tradition beyond brought him to California from Iran to carry on the family legacy.
