
WHO: The Orange County Heritage Council and The City of Santa Ana Present the 3rd annual celebration of Arts, History, and culture of Juneteenth
WHAT: The Orange County Heritage Council and The City of Santa present the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Festival celebrating the tradition of Juneteenth and the cultural legacy of music, and arts as Hip Hop turns 50 years old, the festival celebrates the culture by showcasing the contributions of some of the greatest in history unifying East and West Coast music. This fun-filled day of activities includes a Custom Car & Bike exhibit, a Black History Exhibit presented by Delta Sigma Theta OC, Domino Tables and a Health Village to provide the community with resources as a commitment to valuing the importance of physical and mental health, especially in communities of color. Vans® will be presenting scholarships to four deserving students in the community.

Event run time: 11 am-6 pm with performances and opportunities for interviews throughout the day
WHERE: Centennial Regional Park, 3000 W Edinger Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92704. Free parking will be provided and accommodation for seniors with dedicated tent/seating.

Attendees: Performances will include Legendary Rap Artist, Talib Kweli, one half of the famed Brooklyn Hip Hop Group Black Star, Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Brody Brown (Bruno Mars, Adele, Silk Sonic), and a special tribute DJ set by the Westcoast Legendary DJ Battlecat (Snoop Dogg, E-40, 2pac, Lucy Pearl). Additional performances include: Lighter Shade of Brown, Cherrelle, Francois Dean along with guest speaker Daniel Michael Lymens of the Black Panther Party.
