شب یلدا: اعتدال زمستانی در شعر پارسی

از دوران ماقبل تاریخ تا کنون، اعتدال زمستانی در فرهنگ های گونان به چشم یکی از مهمترین اتفاق های سال و موسم جشن و آیین های مذهبی دیده شده است. یلدا، شب زایش دوباره خورشید است. چرا که با پایان درازترین شب سال، روشنایی دوباره بر تاریکی چیره می گردد. پارسی زبانان، بلندترین شب سال را به گردهمایی، خواندن شعر، جشن و پایکوبی، و بزرگداشت زایش دوباره طبیعت می گذرانند و به آرزوی بهاری حاصلخیز می نشینند. امسال، گروه شعر پارسی لس آنجلس از طریق Zoom گرد هم آمده و به جستار اعتدال زمستانی در شعر پارسی خواهد پرداخت. در بخش دوم برنامه شاعران پارسی زبان لس آنجلس شعر خود را با ما به اشتراک خواهند گذاشت. برای دریافت اطلاعات ورود به برنامه پیامی به mnaderi@lapl.org بفرستید.
Yalda: Winter Solstice in Persian Poetry

Since prehistory, the winter solstice has been seen as a significant time of year in many cultures, and has been marked by festivals and rituals. It marked the symbolic rebirth of the Sun. Once the longest night of the year is passed, the light overcomes the darkness. In Persian literature and culture, the longest night of the year is celebrated as a night of gathering, poetry reading, festivities, respecting mother nature and hoping for a prolific spring. In this workshop, Dr. Max Rahni will talk about the representations of this solar event in Persian poetry and culture. We will celebrate winter solstice with poetry while we gather virtually via Zoom. This program will be presented in Persian Language. In the second part, the persian-speaking, Angelio poets will share their poetry in an open mic style. To sign up, email mnaderi@lapl.org.
