What you like to know about Rabbi Zargari
David Zargari was born in 1953 in Tehran Iran to a father that was known as Adon Zargari who devoted his life as a selfless educator to thousands of students.
At the age of 13 he immigrated to Israel to continue his education.
After graduating from Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a degree majoring in Economics as major and psychology and Law as minors he came to U.S in 1975 to attend Ner Israel Rabbinical college in Maryland and at the same time attended Loyola University and earned his MBA degree in finance in 1977.
After the revolution Rabbi Zargari by-now ordained from Ner Israel , changed his plans and decided to follow his father’s footsteps!
First he taught in his Alma mater Yeshiva and created the first Persian congregation in Maryland and then his Mentors suggested he should move to Los Angeles where most Persian Jews chose to settle.
Rabbi Zargari has been active in LA in the Persian Jewish community since September 1987 in the are of Education and Rabbinics and feels very much this was his divine calling.
Rabbi and Mrs. Zargari got married in 1980 and are proud parents and grandparents of many children, gifts of Almighty G-d.
