Delicious nights ahead at Momed – Atwater Village. Enjoy a series of exquisite dinners titled “The Immigrant Dinners” conferred as part of LA Times Food Bowl for the third successful time this year. Momed’s Iranian-Armenian-American owner Alex Sarkisian, a true humanitarian, arose with this great idea to entertain and educate diners with foods from all around the world to share culture and connect people. With incredible chefs and creative curators, you will be indulging in exciting and divine dishes.
Since these special series focus on diversity and highlight immigrant’s contributions to the community, a super-tasty Persian menu will also be featured on three different nights. Uber-talented guest chef Bita Milanian, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing at Ribbon & its Kandy.io division, will be sharing her family’s treasured recipes, which will be prepared by Chef Drew Adams. Besides being a great cook, Bita possesses many other talents and one of her biggest passions and missions is to bring communities together through arts and culture.
Her tasty creations will be available on May 15th and May 22nd from 5:00PM – 9:30PM. On May 22nd, you will be able to dine AND enjoy Persian disco funk by DJ Omid Walizadeh; a special DJ collaborating with this event.
On the final night of May 29, Bita Milanian will be sharing her menu along with her fellow guest chef Marzia Rossetto Polidori, whose dishes are featured on other nights.
Please note that parts of the proceeds will be donated to a number of non-profit organizations that focus on supporting refugees, such as Pars Equality Center.
